Abstract
This research analyzes the ethical aspects of implementing artificial intelligence (AI) in legal research, focusing on how this technology is redefining analysis methods and automation in law. Both advancements and ethical challenges are identified, such as algorithmic bias, data privacy risks, and the need for transparency in AI use. The study follows a comparative methodological approach, evaluating international regulations and relevant cases on AI applications in legal contexts. Additionally, some main ethical challenges and proposed ethical principles are presented, such as justice, responsibility, and privacy, to offer an ethical framework that guides the responsible use of AI in legal research. The results show that while AI can enhance research efficiency, its implementation must be governed by clear ethical principles to prevent human rights violations and ensure fair and equitable development in the legal field.
