Abstract

The equivalence classes arise up from the stimulus relations, the class extended by some of these as nodes. The response could be considered as more element in the class; therefore, it serves as a node for the relationship between stimuli. Then, the aim of the present research was identifying the effect of different response topographies on the accuracy when develop equivalence classes with students. To achieve this, a new stimulus was incorporated by the topography into each class. The results showed that the subjects formed the equivalence classes (symmetry, transitivity, and equivalence). At the end, the influence of the topography of the response is looks like a nodal effect for the incorporation of new stimuli.
